M.L. Ernst, named after artist and jeweler Martin Lee Ernst, was established in 1980. Before that Martin graduated from San Jose State with an Art degree, and a minor in Art History.


He specialized in painting, watercolor, and airbrush. After he graduated and went on to work in a jewelry store, and on to be the manager of two very prestigious stores in the Bay Area.


1980 He decided to become an artisan and has been making custom designed jewelry at his manufacturing shop ever since.


In total Martin has been manufacturing jewelry for the trade for thirty-nine years. He has made custom jewelry for 48 of the 50 states. The shop handles the casting of all metals, mostly Karat Gold and Platinum. Making one of a kind pieces that jewelry stores can’t get stamped out of a catalog.


M.L. Ernst has made some pieces for famous people including Nancy Reagan, during her time as the First Lady. We have Manufactured Engagement Rings, Colored Rings, Pendants, Bracelets, Earrings, Brooches, Bolos, Money Clips, Cardinal’s ring, Logo pieces, Hair barrettes, Diamonds by the yard, and Grillz .
