Design and Manufacturing

M.L. Ernst Mfg. will communicate with you through telephone and email, and use photos and other means, to realize your vision for your custom design. We will use our expertise and experience to bring your idea into reality.
When you and we come to an agreement on your design, we will provide you with an estimate of the cost of all work to be done. All estimates are good for 15 days. Final cost may be subject to change.

We will also provide you with an estimated date of completion. With most custom work, the time from start of manufacturing to completion is about four weeks.

You will be required to pay a deposit of 10% of the total estimate amount before we begin manufacturing. At time of completion, we will notify you and you will be required to submit final payment on or before the date of shipping.
 

All items are custom made by hand. All sales are final.

Materials

All metals comply with USA Plumb standards.

Stones above .40 carats are supplied with Gemological Institute of America (GIA), American Gem Society (AGS), or International Gemological Institute (IGI) reports as to color, clarity, stone origin, and treatments.

Personal Items
Any items to be provided by you for use in your design (e.g., personal stones) shall be appraised by an Independent Certified Gemologist, (CG), credentialed by the American Gem Society (AGS) prior to being delivered to us.
We will provide the address of  our, CG to whom you may ship the item. 

The CGA will notify both you and us of their appraisal. If you accept the appraisal, the CGA will send the item directly to us; if not, the item will be returned to you. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

All items shipped to us must be insured at the time of shipping with recipient's signature required at the time of delivery.

 

Shipping
We will ship all finished items to you with insurance and recipient's signature required at the time of delivery.
 

All items should be inspected for content, quality, and damages promptly upon receipt.

Returns and Repairs

All finished items are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the case of manufacturing defects. But if you are not satisfied with the finished item, we will happily work with you to make it right. We will also repair any damage caused by manufacturing defects or normal wear and tear. 

All items returned for repair must have been manufactured by us. We will not accept or repair items manufactured or altered by anyone else. You will be responsible for the cost of all return shipping, with insured shipping labels generated by us.
